Can I withdraw from my units after the census date?

Answer

You can withdraw from your studies up until the final withdrawal date shown on the academic calendar for your specific study period.

Students who withdraw from their unit prior to census date will not occur any financial or academic penalties.

If you withdraw after the census date has passed but prior to the final withdrawal date, you will incur financial penalties but no academic penalties (WK) grade.

If you withdraw after the final withdrawal dates have passed, you will incur a financial penalty as well as academic penalty-a fail grade if you do not complete the unit successfully (WF) grade.

If you believe you have special circumstances which have prevented you from continuing with your course you may be eligible to apply for a Fee Re-credit. To apply for Fee Re-credit, please contact your local campus.
