Answer
All Australian SAE students are automatically registered as members of the library.
There are two physical collections in the SAE Library Australia:
- Click and Collect Collection - includes high use physical books that CAN be borrowed (available at Australian campuses).
- Closed Reserve Collection - includes valued but less used physical items such as books, magazines and DVDs that CANNOT be borrowed.
Current Australian students and staff can borrow library books from the Click and Collect Collection by requesting them via the Library Catalogue and collecting them at a later time from your campus designated Click and Collect service point. The requested items are held at the pick-up location for 3 business days.
You can borrow up to 2 items for 7 days. No renewals are permitted. If a book is on loan, you can reserve (hold) the item via the Library Catalogue. You can hold up to 2 items. Email reminder notifications will be sent to your student or staff email address. Failure to return a borrowed item by the due date may result in loss of borrowing privileges and/or a fine. You can keep track of your loans by logging into My Library Account. Items are to be returned to the Click and Collect staff.
To find out how to Request & Reserve the Click & Collect items, go to What is the Click and Collect.
Items available in the Closed Reserve are for reference and research use only and are not for loan. Closed Reserve resources are only available via digitisation requests. Copyright restrictions apply.
To find out how to request a chapter or a section from the Closed Reserved items, go to What is the Closed Reserve.
