SAE Library Click & Collect service provides library users with access to library resources only available in physical format.

The Click & Collect items can be requested via the Library Catalogue and picked up at a later time from your campus designated Click & Collect service point. You can order online any time, but the orders will be processed during the campus opening hours. If the requested item is available (not on loan at the time of the request), you will receive a confirmation email that your book is ready to be collected. 

How it works:

Step 1: If you find a book in the library catalogue that is only available as a "Print book", click on the book's title to open the full record. 

Step 2: If the item is available to be borrowed, an orange button "Click & Collect" will appear in the top right corner. Click on the button to request the item.

Step 3: Submit a Hold Request, including selecting the pick-up location. If you are an online student, select your local campus, as there is no delivery service for the Click and Collect items. (Note: If your desired location doesn't appear in the menu, please refresh the page).

Step 4: Wait for an email to tell you your item is ready for collection. The item will be held for you for 3 business days. Note: You will need to present your confirmation email when collecting your item.

Step 5: Collect your item from your campus designated Click & Collect service point.

Both students and staff can borrow up to 2 items for 7 days. If a Click & Collect item is on loan at the time of the request, you can reserve the item, and you will be notified which position you are in the queue. You can hold up to 2 items at a time. Once the item becomes available, you will receive an email about the item being ready for collection.

There are no renewals permitted for the Click & Collect library items.
