How do I cite an image in a PowerPoint presentation or in a Google site?

Answer

When adding an image to a PowerPoint presentation or a Google site you'll need to cite the image both in the text of your presentation or Google page, as well as in the reference list at the end of your work.

If the images are yours (e.g., you drew them or took the pictures, and they aren't adaptations of someone else's work), you don't need to cite them but they must be clearly labelled.

See the Images section of the SAE library APA referencing guide for in-text citations and reference list examples and for more information.

If you have more questions, ask a Librarian for assistance. We're happy to help!
