How do I apply for Extensions?

Answer

Extensions are granted as part of an application for Extenuating Circumstances. Extenuating Circumstances are situations that are beyond someones control and cause a demonstrable impact on a persons ability to produce or act on work obligations.
 
It is highly recommended that you read through the information below before applying for an Extension.

You must complete an application for each individual assignment you wish to have extension consideration for. Applications take a minimum of 3 working days to be processed.

3. Acceptable / Unacceptable Circumstances

In tandem with the cited criteria above, check the link below for a general collection of both acceptable and unacceptable reasons for applying for extension. These also include guidelines on applicable evidence that would be required to authenticate. (if you are using documents instead of requesting Staff validation, see section 2.4 above)

If you are on an internal SAE Support Plan, please refer to this document (i.e. Support Plan) as your evidence; pending the required extension application deadline has been adhered to.
